Default sparkplugs and wires

Hi im a newbie to LS1s and have a few questions. Im planing on putting hedman long tubes and their matching Ypipe along with underdrive pulleys on my 98 A4 T/A next month. I figured id put new plugs in while im in there and just wondered if any will plugs perform better in my LS1. Also my car has around 52thousand miles should i replace my plug wires also?? One last question, does anyone have any experience with the TCI 3000 stall for my car? That is next on the list of mods I think. Anyway thanks for any help u guys can give. I try to post some pics of myride 2marrow so u can c my new baby.

Default hope this helps

stock repl plugs NGK TR-55 or better yet TR55IX (gm changes from crappy platnuims to iridiums... they're well worth the $7 a piece)
also always double check the gapping even though the come pre-gapped
http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...vid=3&pcid=102

or delco iridiums (whom i believe NGK makes anyway
GM P/N 12571164 with AC Delco P/N 41-985, is gapped to 1.01 mm (0.040 inches)

plug wires i prefer Taylor 8mm or better 10.4mm Thundervolts
3rd down or 5th down - im not a fan of msd's since i know many guys who have thrown them in the garbage shortly after installing them
http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...vid=3&pcid=104

and taylors fire sleeves to keep from arcing & melting the wires

no need to get any really pricey or fancy plugs. you'll never feel a difference. and even if they have increased life, they would have to last 4x as long to justify the added cost. $2 ngk tr55 work just fine.

and same goes for the wires. with such short distance from coil to plug, not much need for high $$ super thick wires. taylor spiro pros work great and were about $45 last i looked

@ Thunder Racing
ngk tr55 $2.25 each ($18.00) + ship
ngk tr55-ix $6.99 each (55.92) + ship
@gmwhores delco 50.75 including shipping
@autozone delco 6.99 each 55.92 + tax

@TR Taylor 8mm spiro's = $45
@ TR Taylor 10.4mm thundervolts = $70
@TR Taylor fire sleeves = $53

TR55's + taylor spiro + firesleeves = $115.98 + shipping
or if went with iridiums & thundervolts its aprox $180

pacesetter coated LT's are awesome w. ORY
Yank 3200 stall would be an awesome coverter for you - even a 3600 is great for the street
you should swap out the fuel filter as well
ASP pulley FTW

PS - shop around a few of the sponsors websites and you can save a nice chunk of money

NGK TR-55 @ Advance Auto Parts for $1.65 a piece..stock wires were replaced @ 75K miles by GMPP wires that are as good as any out there for $45 ... I use the longer Taylor Spiro Pro wires for an LT1 now that I relocated the coil pacs..I have not had any problems with them like others have reported...no need to buy expensive ($7) iridium plugs..I like to look at my plugs every 10-12 thousand miles to see whats going on with the engine..
