Default LS2 Timing Chain?

I am getting to the point where i need to order some parts for my LS1 and need some advice.I dont know if i should get a aftermarket double roller t- chain or a LS2 chain.I have read a lot of good things about the the LS2 chain so i am leaning towards it but is it really strong enough for 7000 rpm useage. Here is what else the motor is getting. So far i have replaced the Main and rod bearings with clevite77 bearings.I also added ARP rod bolts and main studs. The other mods planned are ported LS6 oil pump, t chain?,Trex cam, hardened pushrods,LS7 lifters,PRC valvesprings with titanium ratainers,Home ported stock heads,Cometic gaskets,ARP head studs,LS6 intake, ported throttle body,JTR 1 7/8 headers with magnaflow mufflers and no cats. The goal is 400 RWHP.Later i plan to add a bottle to the motor.

So should i get a LS2 Tchain or a aftermarket double roller setup? If aftermarket which one? Thanks

i put an ls2 chain in mine. would have preffered to change the sprockets as well but it was either put it together or wait for the sprockets to be ordered in. chain was a touch on the loose side which im sure wear on the original sprockets were part of. overall id say it appearance wise is much more robust and when i asked texas speed the same question they said the ls2 chain is all you need.

Street/strip, LS2 chain is plenty stout. It looked much more HD compared to the stock LS6 chain I took out.

Thats just what i wanted to hear.Looks like i will get the ls2 chain. My motor only has 59K on it and shows virtually no wear so i think i am going to reuse the original sprockets. Thanks for the help.
