Erik, seems like there were some past issues with matching this head with the Fast 90 Intake manifold. It certainly does not seem like this is a popular head at this time.

There are so many choices with heads and cams today. I just went for smaller runners, picked my head/cam combination to get me as close to 8.5 DCR as possible.

Being an overall fan of smaller runners & higher port velocity, I don't think you can go wrong with either head.

Let us know. You certainly have great numbers now!
Thanks buddy....no doubt, I like the car and it really hauls....but it is inefficient to say the least as far as how it makes power, according to other's calculations, my DCR is NOWHERE near 8.5.....the power band is higher than I anticipated (probably my fault for not considering the cam specs and its band) and the driveability is not that great under 2k rpms (again, probably normal for the cam size, just worse than I expected)

I am going to build something that is a little more $$, but more efficient and more driveable..I cannot wait!

I do remember the problem with the terminators and the FAST intakes not lining up...thanks for refreshing...anyone ever worked that out?

Just FYI my termy heads are a couple days old and they don't match up perfect at the bottem of the fast intake. I plan on filling it in to line them up but I suppose this is to be expected with a 200 cc intake runner. That **** is small. And its easy to modify the fast.

I'm waiting on final tune/numbers before I post about the Terminators.
Added a 90/90 and Kooks stepped and an EWP to the equation. But as soon as I can get time with the tuner It'll be done and I'll post.

They are no different then the TSP/PRC 5.3's. Side by side comparison they aren't better at all but do cost a little more.

n/m TEA has em....
I heard there is no rocker clearance with the trick flows because of the special pedistal the rockers sit on...is this true?
I would hate to have to buy new valve covers for the heads to work...eventhough polished valve covers with the spark plug relo kit would look AMAZING

These GMPP valve covers are a nice alternative to the stock valve covers with a coil relocation ... they will also clear the aftermarket rockers... the Trick Flows will require you to use some aftermarket rockers ... with the Trick Flow heads, rockers and valve covers you will have over $3000 in parts..but they are making the most HP now days...it just depends on what you want to spend.

Those TFS/TEA are great heads from all accounts. But are they the heads you want for your goals of low end grunt? 215 cc intake runers. They are an awesome mid-top end head so far from the dyno grpahs posted but what about bottom end results? Anyone runing them with a 228 duration cam like what your looking at Erik? You wanted power under the curve. Look for results with the cam your looking to run before you drop $3000 on heads. Its not just the head that makes the power, it's the combination of the head and cam and intake and exaust and valvetrain.

One thing can definately be said from all the stuff so far and that is that you will not go wrong with AFRs. I like the SOP(seat of pants) feel of the Terms but I dont have numbers so I can't say for sure. But an AFR, mamofied 90/90, with a cam of his spec'ing for you will not dissapoint you in anyway. Those are facts.

Have the PRC 200CC Terminator Heads gotten an updated intake port to accommodate the Fast 90 intake setup? I remember seeing a big problem with alignment between the two. I voted AFR because of their proven performance and I'd want to put a fast 90/90 on it.
