The TFS 215s will have great port velocity as well. Remember, it has a rolled valve angle that creates a larger port, but at about the same cross-sectional area of a conventional head. So velocity should remain largely unchanged from say an AFR 205. Same goes for the ETP 215s.

Remember, look at the numbers that most of the typical cars are making with these heads. Not the shop specialty car that they use to claim big numbers that nobody seems to be able to repeat. That goes for all parts, really. If you believe the shop numbers only, you'll be disappointed. Get independent verification.

It's interesting that we haven't seen many numbers from the PRC-modified Edelbrock heads. Anyone out there besides Termin8r?
Lets just say I'm not real happy with them (The Terms)

I put down 410 on this same dyno I always use on a great day weather day with my old setup. tr224 cam/ prc 5.3's SW lt's and catted Y, stock 10 bolt w/373 gears.

my new setup is a 234/240 cam with Edelbrock heads, a 9inch rear, 90/90 EWP, and Kooks stepped into a catted Y.
Today on a not so great day I just put down 395.
You tell me. I'm mifed about it.
I havent hit the track but this isnt an a4 car its s 6 speed so it should show on a dyno.

Wow!

Sorry to hear that.

I had better luck with a "smaller" cam and LS6 intake.

Any dyno graph? In any case, you deserve much more than 395HP!

Let us know. I would be upset too.

LOL..WeathermanShawn.

heres the thing. I added an EWP and the kooks stepped and a 90/90 and gained nothing. Actualy lost a little with the terminators in place. Maybe they just dont flow enough? how can you add a better intake and exaust and gain nothing?

Could be.

Seems like a few people have had some issues with the Terms and the 90/90.

That 234/240 cam would really want some air up top.

Any indication of any valve float? Where did your power peak?

Hope you find some answers.

Keep us updated..

WeathermanShawn.....

You have some really good torque numbers in your graph. It must be quite torquey around town, etc. Lots of fun I'd imagine.

Thanks Vader99.

Yes, it is really "torquey". Blast to drive. One of the reasons I've kept the stock 3.42 gears for now (yea, I know 10-bolt).

My goal was really 99% street. Still getting 27-28mpg on the highway at 75-80 mph, with plenty of wide open Colorado roads.

Hopefully 99BlancoSS will figure out his HP no gain on the Term heads.

I finally got my Terms swapped on and the car is getting tuned as I type. First pull she made 440 and now it's up to 460. All with an MTI X1 cam (230/227) and a fast 78. Not too shabby

Well good luck on the results. Seems like a little more cam and you'd see 475 rwhp. I bet you end up around 465 rwhp after the final tune. Let us know how you did ..............

great results! finding a few issues with my results. Thrust angle was off and we had the wrong weight on the car when we programmed the dyno.
my cars race weight is 4050 lbs So my dyno results are skewed. Haven't been able to get to the track yet.

Patrick G:

I am running 200cc PRC terminators with a mild cam (215/220, 112LSA; .580/.580)and have decent street numbers and performance. In CA so full smog compliance.

At the wheels with an A4:

HP: 380 @ 5400
TQ: 390 @ 4800

Definitely not a dyno queen, but I am very happy with the way it drives. the tuner (Rick @ Synergy) built the bottom end for me and said that with a different cam the HP numbers would be higher.

forgot to mention that torque at 2000 = 300ft-lbs.

You should be very happy with the 380 rwhp paired with 390 rwtq. I bet she is a monster. Makes power at low rpms and peaks before 6000. I start my near peak numbers around 6200 and hold them to 6800. Have fun .

Let me just say this. I'm currently working on the tune. The difference that I've seen so far is well.... lets just say.... I'll wait for the dyno run to make a statement but on my test drive the other night I almost crapped my pants. The tune is what I would say as so-so. It seems to be safe to drive, not leaning out at WOT at all, actualy going to about 12.2 so I know theres plenty more in it.

I ran a few cars as well. One being an 02 T/A. Absolutely ran away from him, not walked. In 4 seconds I had 6 lengths on him from a 50 roll and expanding exponentionaly at a rate at which I swear I could have left the earths gravitational pull.

Scared the **** out of me.

If your thinking about buying a set of Terms, I'd wait for my dyno results and see what the difference is between them and AFR's.

I personaly dont believe any dyno numbers coming from Texas. They're not repeated anywhere else in the world from what I've seen. Maybe its true, all the streets are downhill, and nitrous is in the air in Texas.
