I will have more info for everyone tomorrow.i will be putting the heads on the car that originally came with the car, I was told from the guy that I bought these heads from that he had those heads with the T Rex and didn't have to fly cut. So we will see what happens.

Why don't you measure your PTV Clearance???

one minute the heads are stock, the next they are decked/milled and thin gaskets are used...id say thats the prob right there...

again, you always run this risk when buying used....

if youre going to buy used heads, ALWAYS check p/v with a cam of this magnitude!
good luck!

They are not milled or decked heads, I just measured them and they are within 15 thousandths of each other. Jason did say even with the felpro gasket kit there should be enough clearance. And, my dad said it ran to rough right when I first started it up but I have no idea what is wrong with it. I am not at all saying it was because of the MS4, in the morning I am making sure the timing lines up and checkin more out.

One thing is for sure, clearing the codes did not cause the problem... What kind of oil pressure did you have when you had this problem, also how much valve lash were you running?

Wow, that one valve is F*CKD up. Thats some major contact. Did you check under the valve covers, maybe have some valvetrain failure?

I made sure to check my oil pressure immediately when I felt whatever it is that I felt in the clutch pedal, it was right around 20 pounds which is what it always was at, at idle. I know clearing the codes didn't do it, its just strange to me that it ran fine except for that lag in top end then I came and put it in the shop to change out the TR6 back to my ac delco, I changed cylinders 1 and 3 to see if I saw any change on the scan tool, I cleared the codes and started it up and it sounded terrible so I shut it off right away, then I felt the headers and cylinders 1 and 3 were hot and 5 was cold and 7 was hot. so I took out the spark plug and it was bent all crazy. So the next day I took off the valve cover and the intake valve spring was compressed all the way down and stuck there. From there on I have already explained... That was my night in a nut shell..

I can take more pictures of stuff if that helps anyone. Just be specific as to what you want pictures of.

Ok, I got it figured out, I did have the timing off by 1 tooth, I can't wait to get it back together and see how it runs, definitely a time consuming process..

Also, I apologize to Texas-Speed for even suspecting theire products of being the culprit when I should have known better.

only 20psi oil pressure at idle? are you running the stock oil pump still? my ms4 runs at 45psi or better at warm idle and 60 to 80 at cold start with a ported tsp oil pump. but even with the stock pump never went below 40 psi.

With the stock cam I was around 40 psi all the time and with the MS4 it dropped a lot. When its revved up it goes to about 60+ pounds.
