I posted a thread a while back about the ticking my SS was making. I finally had a chance to pull the heads, and the passenger side was perfect.


Replaced with LS7 lifters from SD, yadda yadda.. all pushrods good, rockers good, everything good.


Pull the drivers side head... First lifter won't come out. Interesting. Maybe the roller is fubared... start looking closer, cam seems chewed up.

Is it toast? What caused it? I have like 35k on my 918s, is that why? What else should I check?

 

What kind of cam do you have?
