5.3 heads???

I have a cam only car right now. It has the TRex. My buddy has a set of 5.3 heads at his house. Wouldn't these raise the compression? Should I port these and put them on my cam only car or would there be some issue with it?

Don't waste your time if they are stock heads. They will raise your compression but the valves are smaller. Buy some aftermarket heads with the bigger valves and already ported.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I have been looking around and I can get a set of aftermarket heads for a pretty good price. That is probably the better route. Thanks for your opinion.
