Passenger side JPR dowell will not go in, think i have a stuck lifter

back it out again, then spin the cam a few times. most likely your plastic retainer is worn. If that doesn't work try inserting it as you are spinning the cam and see if you can catch it. Happened to me too, I just gave the cam a few good whirls and it went in OK

ended up using a slightly smaller brake line and that went in fine, old cam out MS3 is in. doing springs and reassemble tomorrow morning.
really wish i had a camera with me though, its not a plastic retainer its the actual block! we looked through with a pen light and you can see that i mean just so ever slightly some of the block like extra casting or something is raised just high enough to keep the right side dowel from going back to ol number 8.
also having big *** arms is nice and all but NOT when working in the engine bay. summabitch!!
