Default Few questions...

Okay, I tried searching but after 20 503 unavailable service messages I cant get any info, so here goes:

Pushrods... Part number 7638-16 Comp 7.4 pushrods. Standing side by side with my stock PRs the comp rods look just a hair loger. I'm sure this has been asked before but if someone can clarify it with me I would greatly appreciate it! Are they actually longer or is it nothing to be concerned with?

Oil pump. I've read that the LS1 and LS6 oil pump have the same part number (12556436)... How is this? SDPC calls it the HD oil pump, and TSP calls it the LS6 oil pump, or the other way around. Did the part number just carry over from the crappy early LS1 oil pump, or am I missing something? I would just like to know weather or not I am installing the same crappy oil pump again.

Thanks!
