Default how much for rebuild

what would be a fair price to pay(labor) for a rebuild,if i supplied parts.Im thinking of adding forge rods/pistons to my bottom end so I can spray 150shot on top of my heads and cam.So what would it cost to install this
thanks

Depends what has to be done to the block, typically assembly alone will run about 500, plus balancing and any decking, boring, honing that has to be done. Your looking at about 750-900 total if it's in good shape.

heres some prices i was quoted...

$400 blueprint and assembly

$175 balance the motor (i got new forged rods and pistons)

$360 Machine work (ie.. Hone to 3.905, turn the crank .010, cam bearings + install, and degrease the block)

$75 to file fit my rings.

for a total of $1010.00.....

i on the other hand only had the machine work and the balancing done $535.
