So how much power do you think I will get out of that Cam, with the 10.8:1 Compression setup, the Heads/Intake combo?

Merv, predicting power is like predicting weather. Unless the combo has been tried/tested before, there is no way we could do better than guestimate.

Partick knows his stuff and is an official Thunder Racing Cam designer. Is your tuner the same?
We mentionned that tech that applies to older traditional castings, do not necessarily apply to the L92 design. It is a relatively new cast and if you read in the LS2/LS7 section you'll see more results confirming that tight LSA cams do not fair as well with their ports.

This is why we both recommend the VEs we mentionned

i do agree the fact that it seems the L92 headed motors dont seem to like tight lsa cam shafts, but the funny thing is , i see that ls7 headed stuff seem to make good power with relatively tight lsa's, maybe it has something to do with the 12 degree valve angle or something.

Alright. I wanted something that would have a nice choppy idle, but I might have to sacrifice that for power..what have you guys seen with these Heads, cause there isn't really much out there yet..
So what RPM band do you guys think this will have.. where it will peak at.

14* degree overlap is very choppy. Peak should be 6300>6500 neighbourhood depending on total combo.

Why don't you fill the custom cam form from Patric's website in his sig and IIRC it is like $25 for detailed specs.
You have to give him all detailed info of your combo that way he will tweak the baseline specs we mentionned.

I am going to call him at Thunder Racing and hopefully get ahold of him and get a price. I appreciate the help guys.
See I don't know that much about Cams..so I wouldn't know that it would be choppy or not..
