stock bottom end
So based on that I have to say 500 rwhp is as much as I would feel comfortable with.
ALOT of cam only guys on here making 400 RWHP spray a 150 shot all the time, its very common. You need a conservative and proper tune.
You could up the HP on motor, since you said you were doing heads and cam. Try to get around 450 RWHP out of heads and cam, and then only spray a 100 shot. Obviously, a 100 shot is more forgiving than a 150 shot, but as long as its properly tuned, it doesn't matter.
FWIW, I plan on spraying at least a 100 shot on my 488 RWHP N/A car, and more than likely I will be spraying a 150. As long as you take the precautions, 550-650 RWHP is not uncommon on the stock bottom end. Just make sure to keep your torque in line, having a 450 RWHP car, and spraying a 150 shot at 3000 RPM's will end up in piston / rod shattering torque over time. A motor that makes 600 RWHP but 700+ RWTQ is more prone to having issues than a motor that makes 600 RWTQ. Bring the nitrous in later to be safer, set up a window switch to bring it in at 4000+ to help prolong the life of the motor.

I decided to play it safe and bought a LME L92 416 shortblock built to run N20. That topped with ETP LS7 heads, custom cam and LS7 intake should see 500+ rwhp on motor and 700ish on spray
