he said it was the shop that mike alsop (bullrun guy) runs at a GM dealership....a performance shop attached to a dealership if you will....guys he got the Hotcam for FREE....sounds like a deal to me....do LS6 springs with the hotcam (dont know what the P/N is).....

will his car be faster with a 224/224 yes....will it be reliable yes....will it cause premature wear of the valvetrain prolly not.....but ifs not free nor did he ever mention being the fastest car on the streets...the hotcam has alot of bark compared to its bite....it sounds alot bigger then it is...im also thinking of running this cam in the future...of course with a small nitrous shot.....again im not looking to be the fastest thing on the streets just have a car that will dust 95% of the cars on the road everyday.....

litle8 if you could pm me and let me know how much they are charging to do the swap please...i live about a half hour from laf. indiana...thanks man

GM hotcam is good with the spray, but NA its not going to warrant the cost of putting it in...period. FWIW my best friend put an FM13 in his car over 2 years ago with dual valve springs and 28K miles later his car runs perfect. If your not looking for a big cam and much power over stock then go with the hotcam but I garantee you swap it out for something else down the road. All that money for 15-20 rwhp over stock isnt worth it in my opinion.
