Sorry man that is not a "normal" cam folks use.. so you aint gonna get a lot of hits.

But, similar cams..in a M6 with bolt ons and headers... have put out from mid 350's (avg would be around 367) to almost 375. Bu that would be if everything was dang near perfect.

Why did you choose THAT cam?

because of the price. and its better than the hot cam. and whats wrong with this cam? i'm already pushing 330rwhp as is. and i think i will beable to get 400rwhp after the ls6 intake and lts with 3inch y-pipe. so what cam should i have went with then? so your saying i'm only going to gain 20hp. i don't have headers yet or any computer work done.

It looks very similar to the Hot cam but with more lift. So you could take a look at average Hot cam gains and add maybe 5-10 HP for the extra lift. Looks like a better choice than the Hot cam.

Real rough guess: if you're coming from the smaller 2001-02 stock cam, gain 40 HP. If you're coming from the 98-2000 cam, gain 30 HP.

well my car is a 98. the stock cam is only 202/210 .494/.494 your numbers sound about right with just the cam swap. but with lts and ls6 intake and proper tuning is 380 to 400 some thing to shoot for?

This cam is similar to the Cartek M cam that I am running 218/224 567/567 113. I have a all of the bolt ons. My car is a C5 A4 and I dynoed with 3.73 gears my numbers were 382 RWHP / 413 RWTQ. If you have an F body your dyno numbers should be better, since F bodies have less drive train loss .

98 C5
Cartek Stage 2 Heads and cam, LS6 Intake, TPIS headers, Underdrive Pulley, Comp Push Rods, Rev 1116 Valve Springs, Borla exhaust, B&M Trans Cooler, ST3500, 3.73 Gears, 172 t.stat, LS1 Edit Tuning.

I just purchased one of these cams also. I have a 98 T/A that is sprayed so i liked the exhaust side being bigger on this cam. I havent got it installed yet hopefully it performs well. You can not beat the price they have right now $299 If anyone is thinking about purchasing one of these cams call Ed Potter at Lingenfelter he was very helpfull.
