Well I guess today was a good day and a bad day....

The lifters I installed are the same as the ones on the left in the post..

i just pulled mine out after 300 miles and they were just as you described

i though that maybe something got loose in the system and scared them up

Fixed my lifter tap, oil pump pickup tube o-ring wasn't sealing right, fixed that, no tap, good oil pressure.

And for the record, I've been to 2 different dealers who both have labled on the box in may 07, 2007 vette zo7 lifters, and they resemble the stock lifter, not the one in the picture from that vendor. Not sure what that means to anyone...
