Just to correct this statement, I work for the company that owns trick flow and the cams that are for the ls1's are not made by crane cams, they are made by lunati. All the rest of trick flows cams are made by crane cams.

You dont have to spin the patriot to the moon to get fantastic results. The power level wasn't amazingly high like some other cams, and definitely didnt break any records but the power under the curve this cam produces is awesome for streetability. I'll post up my graph in a minute

heres my graph after it was tuned. Keep in mind these numbers were made on my stock headed '98 with a stock intake manifold, and pulley. It was also 100+ degrees with very high humiditiy. I love how the cam produces more power and torque over stock throughout the entire powerband!

oh **** man with heads, a fast, and a 90mm you will have no problem. My car is being severly choked right now with the stock intake/throttlebody...and when i was getting it tuned it was only cam/lts/catback. Give me a pulley, intake, filter, and a tb AND heads it would easily be over 400hp. And it also made 370ftlbs!

that torque is realy good,

i was hoping to get about 430ish,

heads.. FAST 90, nw90, knock sensor modd, full exhaust, all smog systems out.. and more and more..

420-430 and i am realy happy, but i guess anything over 400 makes me quite happy, i will shoot a 100shot in to it also.. so i think it will be enough ;P

Delsold, try some 7.425 pushrods and you will be surprised how quiet your valvetrain will be. I have the patriot cam as well and my engine is very quiet with the 7.425's . Nice car and I like your tag!

Contact Ron @ Venegence, great, power proven grinds. I am getting a 226/228 @ 112 and with supporting mods and tune will make over 400 horse with a 3" steel DS, LS7 clutch and Moser 12 bolt.

I called Patriot about their 226° cam, and they told me that it was ground by Howards Cams. I'm going to give it a try in a couple of weeks.

Spiral04 I went with the TFS stage 3 cam and without the ported Fast 90/90 combo as someone above, I put down 444.4 rwhp and 411tq. Soon I will add a ported fast and a Nick Williams along with a set of 3.90's and hope to hit 470

You have the same setup I want. Where did you get your heads/cam package? How much? I'm guessing the HP you laid down wasn't on a mustang dyno.

U have to take into consideration his baseline dyno...i dont know what it was but i bet it wasnt very high....if u start of with a 290-300hp stock then dont expect 400hp out of a single cam change, especially with a cam this small....im set to get tuned on WED, my baseline was exactly 301 so im hoping for 350-360 at best with all the boltons and the 226 cam.

ya my baseline was exactly 300.0whp, and 311wtq. I gained 49whp and 59wtq cam only. If my car had an ls6 intake, underdrive, and a ported throttle body i could probably pick up 15-25 more. And that wouldnt be bad for that small of a cam and bolt-ons.

I gained 39 from it but im sure i coulda pulled a little mroe....my stall was on its last leg....im glad it blew up like 2 blocks from home instead of on the dyno.....i did however drop a full second at the track.

I just installed my TFS III cam a week ago & I'm very happy with it... My two previous cams were; the Torquer 2 & a custom comp 224/228, out of the 3 the Trickflow is by far my favorite. Pulls hard off idle up to 6800 & has great street manners.
