any 230 or higher duration will have better characteristics with M6 then A4. plus good tune should be no problem. I'm running 231/237 112 on M6 and even though it's not my dailydriver I have occasionally driven it for two weeks straight with no issues. just trying to keep milage low. sometimes I drive it to San Antonio 170 miles one way, no problems....
just depends what you are after, once you figure it out go do it. only way you'll be happy....

as already stated a great tune is a must with a large stick. you will need alot of extra timing put in in the lower rev range to kill most of the bucking. i think something like a t3 on a 110 +2 or so would be a pretty decent cam.
i think i have already asked you this but you may not have seen it but is bville burkesville or somewhere else ?

i run a 233/239 cam (the one smaller than MS3) 600+ miles a week. I wouldn't say it drives like stock, but i don't have any real issues with it. You need a high tolerance to a modded car and a tune.

i think it all depends on the person i daily drive a lg x5 cam in texas with no ac in the rain and skinnies on the front no problems but it depends on the person but it can be done with a good but without a good tune its unbearable i've driven a car without a tune for couple of weeks the cam was 232-240 595-610 ls1 speed cam it was no joke but with my new cam i got 456 gears thats helps a lot down low in the city especially with my cam being really race only

I daily drive mine. And run errands on it sometimes I had to spend some time getting the tune almost perfect (need to fine tune my PE on a dyno). My car idles at 850rpms with no surge, it has never died at a light and has a wicked lope. But it took me 1 month of fine tuning. I have virtually no bucking. Parking lots and traffic are not a problem at all. It works great with the AC on. The tune is key before I nailed mine down, at 1000-1500rpms in 1st and 2nd gear it would buck like a frickin bronco. Now there is a hint of bucking but hardly noticeable at all, you will not be able to completely eradicate it after all it is a huge cam. I have rod suspension so it is a bit more revealing, on stock suspension you would probably not even notice it unless you where looking for it.

PS, Oh I forgot if you do go with the MS4. Get bigger injectors and plan on needing a new clutch shortly after. I was maxing out my injectors at WOT and My clutch now slips at WOT. but it was doing pretty well for a 50,000miles clutch that saw a lot of abuse at the Road Course, Auto X and Dragstrip.
