lq4 lifter = 00 3.8 lifter?

Default lq4 lifter = 00 3.8 lifter?
kind of lsx related...

so...i had a lifter go bad in my 2000 9C1 impala. the pushrod cup turned and got stuck. replacement lifters for the '00 impala are $28 from gmpartsdirect, but look IDENTICAL to an lq4 lifter. why couldn't i use an lq4 lifter? i have access to some.
