If you don't have a set of the 243 castings, we have brand new GM castings for $395.00 per pair bare.

Which set of your heads would you recommend with the msv4? I am wanting some excellent power out of this engine. All I will have is the heads, cam, headers, underdrive, true duals, fast 90/90 setup, etc. Just wanted to see what you would suggest

A set of our CNC ported 243 castings with oem 2.00"/1.55" valves and Patriot Gold springs would work well. They will give you great flow and the most PTV clearance. These run $1095.00 per set. If you are talking about a non-ported head, go with the 243 over the 241 because of the smaller combustion chamber and greater flow.

I would think porting stock heads would cost the same as purchasing cnc heads, plus porting stock heads will you get flow chart? purchasing cnc from sponsor atleast you'll get flow chart and you know what ur getting. unlike porting your stock heads and not knowing the flow will make you wonder if anything was left on the table. so to speak. something to think about....
