Recieved My cam today from COMPCAMS, have question
OK, here are the specs on my cam (228/236 .571.602 111LSA) My RMS SII 5.7 heads are milled .30, how do you think my piston-to-valve clearance will be?

Wow thats a big cam!! I'd like to hear a sound clip after you get her straight. Also can wait to see the dyno numbers.
What springs are you running? What bolt ons do you have?

Wow, that's the first time that I've seen an XE on the intake with an XE-R on the exhaust! You typically see it just the opposite. I would DEFINITELY check your p-to-v clearance. How much advance is ground into the cam? It should make some really nice power, but you may end up cutting some reliefs, especially if you have some advance ground into it!

What do you mean by "XE" on the intake, "XER" on the exhaust? The cam has 2 degrees of advanced ground in. What do you think my P/V will be around? I'm praying to GOD that this will be ok . If everything checks out OK, this car should make some nice power.

CompCams has a XE and a XE-R series of lobes. The XE-R is more aggressive. I'd really like to hear and see a dyno with the cam
http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~lgigliot/xe-r has the list of lobes.
