Exhaust banging off of crossmember

what can I use to wrap around the exhaust pipe to help keep the exhaust from banging off the crossmember and possibly causing knock? would heat wrap work?

shove an old brake pad in between em. It will keep pressure on both so they wont move and it won't melt, either.

i had the same problem. i cut about 1/4 of a inch off my magnaflow I-pipe that connects to the y-pipe and grinded a small chunk off the corner of my crossmember. now if i could get that u-clamp to stop banging the driveshaft tunnel?

As was suggested by others on here in previous threads i used a piece of heater hose.Get a short piece of 1" heater hose and slit it lenghwise-it will fold over the pipe and wedge between the pipe and floor.
