Unfortunately none of the pics you've posted will show the kind of wear you are checking for; you'll have to pull them or look at the ends with a mirror on the car.

Did they fit under stock valve cover? Or did you have to modify it?

I had to clearance one spot under my driverside cover. It barely hit on a small bulge so I just touched it with the grinder.

Oh no. I have these rockers on my heads, havn't fitted the heads yet, but didn't know there was clearence issues, I was told all would be fine if I stayed 1.7 ratio.
So should I do some grinding on the valave covers, what rocker hits?

Mine fit perfectly without needing to clearance. I don't think it would be a big deal to do if they did hit a little. He said he just touched it with a grinder. Everyone's engine is going to be a little different. Hopefully you won't have to bother with it. As to the question at hand, I've not heard of this problem, could someone explain?

Bringing this thread back from the dead. My HS have been off for awhile and upon inspection I found that some of my rollers look like they have been running against the side of the rocker body tip. What causes this and are the rockers scrap? Don't want to run them like this and risk breakage or get get metal in the oil and to the bearings.
