I am out of German Castrol, which I had been using. Just ordered two cases of Amsoil 5W-30 ASL, which I had used previously had tested several times and had very good results with so I went back to it.

what is ur guys reasonings for different oils? i know viscosity helps coat one way and the other way is like performance right? also does it affect how long it will go for or is that just the difference between synthetic and regular?

i run valvoline. right now i use the vr50. i use it because it's not a wax based oil like pennzoil and really don't buy into the synthetic BS. ran the engine all last year. last winter tore the engine down looked at some bearings. couldn't even tell that they had been run.
