Default which lifters are better? Ls7/Comp/caddy

trying to find which ones are best for me. I'm engine is going to be a high lift cam with twin turbos. Thanks

well maybe like .650 lift springs. Not sure on pressure

looking for more info also....trying to determine the breakover point with spring pressure and lifters.....when do I think the comps won't cut it anymore?

You really need to provide some more information for everyone to recommend the best lifter for you. What camshaft, what spring, how many RPM do you plan on turning, etc?

Cam specs are:

Dur @ .050 232 int 240 exh

Lift .595 int .608 exh


Lobe Sep 115.0

Springs are going to be most likey the Partiot Golds.
Spinning up to 6500+
Hoping for 600rwhp

Caddy here - 6000 miles daily driven in the last 2+ months

No issues with them so far

Get some of the Caddy race lifters and save the rest of your money for other mods!

Matt you dont think he would be fine with the LS7 lifter for only 600 horse and the cam set up and rpm range that he is running. Just trying to get some ideas? I cant wait to see the 2 engines we are getting from ya'll.

With the extra stress of the boost and what I'd call a mildly aggressive camshaft...I'd go with caddy lifters for a bit of added insurance over the LS7's.

Cool thats all I wanted to know. If someone already had the LS7 lifter though would you tell them to upgrade for a similar setup?

If they were going to have the heads off anyway, yes...if not, probably not.

Ill be running the same cam with a procharger looking to make around 6-700 at the wheels and ordered teh caddy lifters today from SDPC!

Nobody mentioned Rhoads lifters. What are the thoughts on those?
