pretty much the same design except they get bigger air volume as upgrade.

if you plan on upgrading from ls1 to another, i vote ls6, unless you have a little extra coin in your pocket for the FAST.

OK....well thank you for your help.....I just wasnst sure why some were leaning toward the LS6 and some choose the Fast. So is it true to assume that you will see true HP gains by just doing the intake swap?

The runners on the LS6 intake are slighly bigger, therefor, mor plenum volume. I think it's like .16 cu in bigger, some crap like that... I could have sworn I had specs on it.

So do you think that you will see True Rear tire HP gains?

I gained 2mph from nothing but the LS6 intake swap in my LS1 RX7

it went from 113-115mph trap (bone stock LS1) with no other mods

The FAST intake (90mm) can actually be over kill as well unless youve got a big cam or heads and exhaust to support it.

LS6 intake is sufficient.

It depends on what mods you have. A stock car with an LS1 intake will gain about 10-12 rwhp just by going to the LS6 intake. A car with a big cam and or heads will see more power from the FAST 90.

I felt a nice TQ gain on my LS6 intake.. I've had the P+P'd TB on there almost since I bought the car. Went on w/ the lid 4 years ago.

many choose the fast for it added features, like the burst panels that let the intake survive if there is a no2 hiccup. or the bosses for direct port, while the ls6 can be setup for direct port as well, it is best done by a professional.

HP diff between LS1 and LS6 intake is certainly worth while... Jumping to the FAST 90 probably isnt unless you intend to mod the internals with a big cam and maybe heads.
