You need to check your SCR & DCR with the gas available in your area. When you go milling & rasiing compression you can run into trouble if not careful. Also watch the gasket thickness & quench area. Detonation is not your friend.

I'd also suggest a LS6 or Melling oil pump, LS2 timing set, Chromemoly pushrods(use a pushrod length checker with the heads bein milled) & might as well throw in a set of LS7 lifters for added insurance since the heads will be off anyway.

And I'd contact Bo White about a TB too since you'll be doin some pretty decent work at the time. He has a very good rep. & does great work. Not to mention he is finally a sponsor again.

Contact PREDATORZ about gettin your SCR/DCR calculations figured out if you don't know them. Thats who helped me & he is a mod in here too.

I think you'll have one hell of a sleeper once its all done. Guessing 420-450hp. I would keep the rs badges and try to keep the exhaust note down and install cut outs. Then go out looking for a race or two. Keep us posted with your build.

it was a pretty good sleeper car before. it looks stock inside and out, but ran 6.90's at 100 mph in the 1/8.
