How do I install the old style rear main seal? Got my engine all apart, now I'm working on putting it back together. What is the proper way to install a new seal in the rear cover, and then the proper way to slide the rear cover over the crank so I don't damage it? It is the old style gasket, and is exactly the same as what came in the car originally (99 LS1)
