Does anyone see a problem with this set of heads on this cam? Plese help out

Does anyone see a problem with this set of heads on this cam? Plese help out

I wanted to see if anyone though this H/C set up would not work together. The heads are

1.5 TEA Ported 5.3 Heads
PRC Gold Dual Valve Springs & Retainers
Milled to 59 CC
Stock Valves

and the cam is an HPE S cam, specs are
238/242 .608/.612 113lsa

From the number it looks close but, I would rather get your opinion before I pull the trigger!!

Unless someone can give you a guarantee I would not get that combo. With that lift and those heads it seems like there would be interference.

Those heads will be milled quite a bit to get then CC that low. And the lift on your cam if over .600, so I wouldn't suggest it. The only way to know 100% for sure is to buy it & clay test it to see if the valves are gonna hit.

Then your gonna have to worry abotu the SCR & DCR with the heads milled that much & the higher compression. Then also don't forget about the quench area with whatever gasket you go with.

It starts gettin more technical when you start milling & adding compression on pump gas.

There is no way that will work without flycutting the pistons. The max we recommend with the 5.3 head is about 228-230 @.050!

what if I were to use a thicker head gasket?

Lol, you got an answer from the source, there is NO WAY it will work without flycutting. Why are you doubting his answer?? Just flycut and be done with it if thats the cam you really want
