Default Stripped front oil pickup tube bolt on LS1

OK, don't know how but it's stripped. I was switching to a Camaro tube on my C5 block so it uses the hole on the other side of the inlet. Never got tight, just pulled the threads out. It's a 2004 LS1 Corvette motor I was swapping oil pans on from batwing to Camaro.
Anyhow I'm guessing a Heli Coil, or I was thinking of drilling it out and tapping it a slightly larger size.
At the moment it's hanging on the hoist as I have the trans on and was just getting ready to put it in the car (77 corvette) so it will be a PIA either way.

If anyone has some information it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Frank

Wasn't happy with the Heli coil so I drilled and tapped it 1/4 20, loctite and installed it, new pan is on, ready to go in tomorrow night.

Thanks,

Frank
