High Idle Issue

High Idle Issue Ok, I recently did a heads/cam swap with an LS6 Intake, ported TB, and LTs. The car runs well, but when I really get after it, it starts wanting the idle at 1500-2000 RPM. If I shut off the car for about 2-3minutes it will go back to normal, sometimes it will go back to normal if I just drive around normal. I am totally stumped

You have a a vacuum leak. Be sure to check all your PCV connections, or the nipples if you capped them off. I had one also after a heads and cam swap, ended up being the intake manifold gaskets were bad.
