Default making a higher rpm motor

what is required to spin my motor to 7000rpm consistantly w/o hurting anything. i know the valve train is going to need a total rebuild (and a cam that can support power that high), what about the rotating assembly? timing set? flywheel? rotating accesories (oil pump, water pump, alternator) etc?

on a slightly related note: what's the difference between 1.7 and 1.8 ratio rocker arms?

High RPM means cutting weight everywhere you can afford. Valves, springs, rockers, pushrods, lifters, pistons, rods, crank, balancer, flywheel, clutch, and make sure that everything that spins is correctly balanced.

As for the rocker ratio, it dictates the lift at the valve. Your stockers are 1.7, if you want to find out how much more lift you will get with going to a 1.8, divide your current lift by 1.7, then multiply that number by 1.8. It also has an effect on your duration.
