Car Acting Strange
Car Acting Strange Hey guys, I just dropped my 228r cam in about a week ago and I'm getting the car tuned tomorrow but it has developed a couple of problems that I'm not too sure are related to my cam swap. First off, the temp. gauge has been going insane, fluctuating up and down...I replaced my ECTS already so I think I'm going to by a 160 thermo and see if it helps. My main problem is that when I'm driving, the car will lurch like it's struggling to get air or something. It doesn't do it constantly and it seems to stop if I let off the gas. Also, when I disengage the clutch, sometimes the RPM's won't drop immediately. The car does come out of gear so I don't think it's the tranny, I'm just wondering if all of this stuff (except the temp thing) could be the computer trying to deal with my cam....Any input will be appreciated!
the driveabitlity is most likely in the tune the coolant is probbly an air pocket thats working its way out, check your level i bet its down.
