Default Heads/Cam/Header install now guages not working

So we had our motor torn down and put back together correctly, these guys went over every little detail. Cleaned up the heads, installed a new cam and a new set of headers. They fired the car up and all is well, except for the fact that the temp guage, tach and speedo aren't working at all.

They are going to check into it more thoroughly tomorrow but they aren't too familiar with the electronics in these cars.

Any ideas as to what they might check first?

check fuses...I think I remember others with the same problem before. Don't remember what the fuse is labeled as.

I believe they already checked the fuses and they found no problems.

Well, I was going to answer you have a ground disconnected, but I'm not anymore because it wouldn't be original.

They checked the grounds and everything, all seems well. When they hook it up to the scanner, everything seems to read out properly.

They are suspecting the cluster itself is no good? Is there anyway to confirm that before we spend the money on a new one?

Before we moved the car to the shop the battery was dead and we had to charge it and attempt to start it multiple times to get it rolling. Maybe we fried something in the process?

Did they do any tuning to it yet?

If so, have them reflash the tune, it may cure it.

I've changed my tune dozens of times, and every once in a while, the gauges will go dead after a reflash. Simply flashing it again will bring them back to life.

I don't know if this oddity is C5 specific, or EFI-Live specific, but just tossing it out there as a possibility.
