Default Heads made for 4.125 bore on a 402 LS2?

I have a set of 317 TEA heads on my all bore 388. I'm looking at a shortblock with forged rods for a nitrous setup and considering the 402 because of the price, but my TEA heads are pretty trick and probably not worth alot with all the new offering out there so I would like to keep them.

Can I even use these heads on the smaller bore 402? Should I just suck up the extra 1800 and go with a 427 or even a LSx 454?

I would suck up if you can do it, provided those heads can supply the bigger cubes.

Otherwise, yes they should work on a 402. What size valves (2.08 ?)

I believe the valves are 2.10 but I could be wrong on that. I know the intake were huge and the exaust were closer to stock size. this is Viseral's old car I bought it with this setup..

I'm looking at the larger cube options now. A lot of choices kind of crazy, this is one mod I'd like to get right the first time if you know what I mean.

Why not just put a new rotating assembly in your existing block??

Thought about it but it is a new shortblock maybe 2k miles but I doubt it. Seems a shame to tear into it. I have a good friend doing a LT1 to LS1 conversion I'm going to sell it for pretty cheap.
