What is a good turbo cam, can you use a cam that has a chopy idle

single pattern, mid 210's duration @.050, .550+ lift on a 116lsa.

you can use a cam that has a choppy idle. check out EPP's website for their turbo cam. In all reality you don't need a huge cam for a turbo.

It depends on your overall setup.
Forged or not, heads or not, etc....

Turbo can handle up to 5* overlap efficiently (for street preferable negative overlap), lift is not as important as in NA so slower ramps for longer life can be used.
Turbo also likes either reverse or single pattern cams.

As an exemple 224/220 113+0, 220/220 115+0, 224/224 115+2
