383 stroker.... initial impressions
383 stroker.... initial impressions Well I just turned 500 miles on my new motor and decided to romp on it a bit. I ran it to about 6500 rpms in 2nd and 3rd. WOW 
It pulls HARD up top!! I can't wait to get it dyno tuned and run it all the way to 6800. The bummer is that the only chassis dyno here in town is on the blink. I just may make the 4 1/2 hr trip to Toronto to have it tuned at ARE. I'll be trying it at the track tomorrow and post the results. I'll be babying the launches since I don't have the 12 bolt yet but the MPH should tell the tale.
