Ms3\4 And A Set Of Good Heads And Youll **** All Over A Trex

Cam Only T-rex Is A Good Choice For A Weekend Car.. If You Were Going To Be In There Though Id Atleast Try And Find A Head\intake Setup To Maxmise Your Gains.. Your Definately Gonna Leave Alot On The Table Without A Good Set Of Heads

Heads will no doubt give some good gains on top of the cam, but I believe the T-Rex was designed to work well with the stock heads, as a cam-only drag cam.

Ever seen what a TRex, heads, and a 90/90 will do? It's f'n impressive. I wouldn't go magic stick anything.

There is a 02 SS camaro down here with fast 90/90, trex and QTP headers making 440rwhp/390tq. Patrick tuned this car.

The Trex is not the easiest cam to tune, driveabilty really suffers. Hope you find a tuner will spend the time to make it driveable.

That's actually weak, I hope it's an A4 car.

I agree with Brian, that is pretty weak. T-Rex,90/90 and supporting bolt ons should be in the 470-480 ish range in my opinion.

This was done on a mustang dyno I was converting over to dyno jet numbers. I went back and checked it made 440/386 SAE. Uncorrected it was 456/402.

You don't understand, the '02 SS is still running STOCK heads. If he added ported heads with higher compression, he'd be up 50 rwhp and be in the 490 rwhp range.

For some reason I thought it was a heads/cam setup with the QTPs and FAST 90. Now I'm sure my post makes sense

Those are some good numbers then

You, my friend, are smoking crack, if you think a stock headed ls1 will be in the 470-480 range.

He thought heads as well. I guess it's cause he's putting in a T-Rex and we've been talking about heads/cam setups. It's all good guys

Crack is not always a bad thing. J/K I was thinking that the car had a set of after market heads or ported stock heads. My bad! Those are some good numbers then.

Yeah, I don't know which heads he's got, but it's the guy with the old cam only record car (the white TA) Now has a TH-400. I saw him run a 10.01 @ 134 in warm humid air a couple months ago.

Just thought I would let you know that gm does offer a high volume oil pump for the LS engines. Its part number 17801830. if you get a discount with GM you should only pay like $65 for it. I have not tried it yet but I plan to when I do the cam swap.
