I just put in the cam, patriot gold dual spring kit, TR hardened pushrods. Kept my stock timing chain/oil pump. Still have 60psi at idle.

FYI... the locks in the Extreme kit aren't the generic ones, they are IIRC Manley Super 7 locks, not standard GM spares. At least this was what I was told when I asked Gunnar about getting spares. I have the same spring kit and couldn't be happier BTW. I have the Melling pump, speed inc had a sale I got mine for 140 shipped. Good luck on the swap.

Doesn't TR recommend to flycut the pistons with the T-Rex?

IIRC he posted about that and was told to sink the valves. I thought TRex was a max effort cam only cam, but it was said that the PTV even though flycutting isn't required, is pretty tight...

You dont need to flycut with stock heads.
Buy ported LS6 Pump And LS2 TIMING CHAIN from TSP >>>>>>> Sponser.

And since you are an M6 get 4.10 or 4.11 gears my friend ran that cam with stock gears it was slow as hell but then he installed the 4.10 the car made 399rwhp with stock tune.

How about you call up thunder and get everything from them and get their advice on it since its their cam. Or better yet, why dont you just pay patrick the 25 bucks and get a custom cam ground up?

I hope your rod bolts can take it, as your going to have to spin that sucker pretty high to get max potential.

You can do that... But, I think there is still some HP left on the table when stopping at 6700..

Shoot, my X3 cam levels out at that.
