Long distance cam?
Hello all--
I have a 2002 Z28 with the very basic bolt-ons. I am planning on getting Jet-Hot headers as soon as they make another batch. I drive my car 365 days a year in the Chicago suburbs. I also occasionally make trips down to New Mexico. I want more power (like everyone), but considering the amount of driving I do on this ****, I can't hurt the drivability too much. Is there a cam (that's worth getting) that won't kill gas mileage and streetability too much? Thanks in advance!

I agree with the comments about the TR220. It would meet your basic requirements with no drivability problems. Another cam to consider is MTI's B1. Its only slightly more agressive than the TR220, but would still ride fine.
P.S. Where in the Chicago Burbs do you live? I'm on the south side in Chicago Heights.

To Constrictor: I live in Buffalo Grove. I'd be using Speed Inc. for all work. I've used them since the beginning and they've never done me wrong.

Re: Long distance cam?
that cam look good based on your needs, add springs when you
install it and consider upgraded pushrods if you like high rev's. when you add headers i would recomend tuning
