Why is my engine knocking / hiccuping? (Video)
Finished my H/C install and something definately isn't right. I have NO power at all, and the car will die if you just let off the throttle. (You have to ease it back and let the engine find its idle.) But there's this knock that is totally random in occurance. Hopefully you can pick up on it in the crappy video. Any idea what's going on? I'm thinking that what I thought was dot to dot probably wasn't. I've got someone else who thinks I used too short of PR's on the LSK cam.

if you went from the dot on the big gear to the dot on the small gear then your on timimng and the car runs so its on. push rods are a good posibility
what heads to you have and what cam. i would sugest getting a push rod lenght tool from jegs and messure the length. if you need anymore advise im here in new orleans. i would like to know the size of cam and deckhigth on the heads.

The tune was a mail order tune by a sponser until I can get it in for a dyno tune. The cam is 224/228 110+0 with .636/.639 lift (LSK lobes). I used PRC stage 2.5 heads and a .040 Cometic gasket. I used a PR length checker, but maybe I didn't use it right. (I thought it was pretty straight forward, and thought I was doing it right.) Anyways, I ended up getting 7.375's.
