231/240 .643/.608 112+4 LSA (Custom LSK/XE-R), go with a SS4000 and get some biiig tires. You'll make ~400rwhp + juice ( you are gonna need a rebuilt tranny, it will not last long)

thats some serious lift on the intake side... hope there's some heads going with it to match. I like to go on the conservative side, plus it seemed he wanted to stay with the 3600 vice moving up to a 4000+ converter.

If that is the case then:

227/236 .639/.602 112+4 LSA, ss3600 or VIG 3200

Its an A4 full-boltons +100 TNT wet shoot , my target is the best performance in the street racing,, its not a DD just weekends car so i dont care about the driveability i want the badest combo for that target.

its OK to hit the maximum limit for street manners cam,, i think my range is between 1500/2000 to 6300/6800

the car is not gonna go to the track that much "like twice a year so the majority street application.

NOTE:its an A4 full boltons unstalled rightnow but im gonna but YANK SS3600 with TCI Pro Super Kit during the cam swap and the main point spray 100 SHOOT of wet juice

do you want off the shelf grind or custom grind specs? oh, and what heads stock or do you plan to go aftermarket soon also?

if your going for street performance, you don't necessarily want to go smaller, as it will make more power down low where you DON'T want it (too easy to blow the tires off) Get something big with heads to match, get a converter to match and learn what RPM to launch at without turning the tires into dust.

It is not the size of the durations that decide where the powerband lies in a cam, it is it's VEs (valve events). look at the LS6 cams for exemple, no real power till 4000rpm +
and with a stall you do not learn what rpm to launch, you make sure the suspension, weight distribution and gum is up to the task. Once you flash that verter you do not have any choice as to where it does it.

Yeap true, this has been uttered many times. big cams need lots of mods to extract the true power potential of said cam, like better intake, better heads, higher compression etc...

Some small to mid size cams, benefit better from more undercurve power with the LS motor as is, meaning stock compression and heads.

If you are sweating the selection, better grab a raincoat for the tuning.
