Default Factory rod,How good?

I'm doing a rebuild and wanna know about the factory rod.I'm balancing the assembly and I'm using arp rod bolt too.

Need to know the HP/TQ they can take on MOTOR with a shift point of 6700 MAX?

I was thinking they're good to 600FWHP?
Remember I wont be spraying,its strictly N/A.

They are fine for almost anything NA and 6800rpm and under.

You guessed correct. Just make sure you use a good rod bolt, like something from ARP. Check bolt stretch. You might also want to balance the connecting rods to within a gram of each other. As long as you don't go and do 300 miles at 6800 rpm, you shouldn't have any problems.Magnafluxing, and x-raying the rods are another thing you can try if you want to spend the extra coins, and you feel it's needed for how you're going to use the motor.

Thanx guys...
Not gonna mag anything, just a balance of the assembly, arp rod bolts, file fits and good bearings for me.

MIGHT buy a set of used Z06 pistons too if the budget allows it?
