thats exactly what i used for my base. my cam lamp is in production as we speak. im actually making the shade out of pushrods and that black net stuff used to cover hoses. u can see it in ur engine bay. one of the rubber hoses that goes to the water pump on the passenger side is wrapped with it

I have a stock camshaft I've been wanting to do that with for a long time now... I'm going to use a brake rotor for the base and find a cool lamp shade for it... I think it will turn out cool!!!

I do have 3 or 4 stock crank pulleys laying around. I have other stuff that I have made. Just gotta find time to get the camera out.

hell yeah i am getting most of my stock blown parts from the machine shop hopefully i can make something equally bader asser to you head lamp or cam lamp i will have a cam all my pistons and rods lifters and valve springs and whatever else comes outa that damn thing lol i am going to make it a point to one up that cam lamp though lol

Here is one I started last week. This will be my 9th cam lamp but I think this one will end up the best looking. The welds are really clean. This is 6th gear out of my late T56. Made for good furniture though. I think it looks pretty good though.
