Reverse Split cams?
So whats the benefit of this? I was eventually planning on something around 232/234 such as the torquer 2 but Ive been looking at comps reverse split cams such as the 230/224 and 236/230.
I like the 230/224 as its on a 111 LSA and torque comes on pretty low (350 ft lbs at ~3200 rpms).
Is a reverse split a good idea for a street duty car that sees some strip action or should I stick with a regular split cam?

Yes, on cam only + minor boltons a reverse is Very beneficial in undercurve power procuction.
It is a matter of matching a combo to work with each other. It has to do with the powerband desired for the application. In general reverse are not peak dyno queens but look at the under curve and layout of the power produced and they yield outstanding results.
