Default Patriot Peformance heads...its competition time :)

well i sat up all night starring at an ebay item...wondering...is this for real?? anyways i didn't bid because i had never heard of them before. so i call them today and terry (tary?) answers the phone. i'm like...so you've got cheap heads that flow those numbers? he's like well those are the old flow numbers...we have better ones now. here is the numbers he gave me for the intake. he is currently working on a new exhaust so the old exhausts as of now are the same. here they are:
.100 72
.150 110
.200 150
.250 180
.300 207
.350 231
.400 252
.450 267
.500 279
.550 288
.600 ??? i don't know what happened to that one and i don't wanna guess it was lower then 296 though. basically they made it so the heads flow more in the middle instead of up too. anyways there customer service is great from what i've dealt with so far. terry took about 15 minutes to tell me about his company and the heads. basically they buy in bulk. he said he had hundreds of ls1 heads waiting to be ported. the price includes titanium retainers, lockers, 2.02 valves, 1.57 valves, and double springs. all assembled and ready to go...for cheap! i'm gonna be buying a set in the hopefully the next day and then i'll goto the track and dyno before and after the install with maybe the addition of an ls6 intake but i don't want to mess up the gains really....accuracy is everything ya know. Check 'em out, Patriot Performance. btw i am by no means a sales rep or anything like that...i just think this is awesome and terry i hope i didn't do anything wrong by telling everyone about your business. thanks for your help too.

I bought similar heads to these from another non sponsor that had all the same specs, springs, valves, etc, and flowed about the same for about the same price. All this proves is that smaller guys are getting into the LS1 porting scene and the prices are coming down, down, down....which is only good for us!

I still like TEA better just cause they are proven on the track. Someone get some low 11sec NA times with these heads and it would help there sales alot! Terry should sponsor LS1TECH also! The more sponsors on here the lower the head prices may go

its no way in hell im paying 2400-2800 bucks for heads... i got my TEA's for 1470.. brand new 5.3's with double springs. The reason I got them was because I see plenty cars running GOOD et's on them

A friend of mine gave me a flyer for patriots heads but I was never able to purchase a set due to my richmond gears going south on me. His business is located not to far from where I live. It is in Rainbow City, AL just norhteast of Bimingham.

I talked to Terry for along time a few months ago at a F-body shootout. Great guy, he seems to really know his stuff. He also has a HUGE deal in the works to make his heads even cheaper then they are now!
Get some track times and let us know how it turns out.

1295 Sounds about right for getting a race port job. At least to me, dunno how everybody else feels.

AFR charges something like $1000 to port any head you send them.

Price sounds about right, I guess now its just a matter of getting some E.T.'s with these heads and how they stack up to the other head and cam combos already out there.

Saweet news BTW, thanks for the heads up!
