Good choice!! I'm running a big cam but I specificaly wanted to play in the hi rpms and dint care so much about low end loss.

The big difference in cams from small to big is the powerband. You either want to have torque down low and throughout the range or your looking for higher rpms anmd want to spin the motors at 4000 rpms before it starts to really kick.

The big cams are good for hi-way rolls and drag strip action in a lightweight car with real sticky tires.

The smaller cams are called street cams becasue thats what they do. Kick *** on the streets. Your torque is there for you at 1200 rpms where a big cam you aint got nothing at 1200 rpms.. maybe 140ftlbs and 150 hp if your lucky.

I've gone from a tr224.. the best street cam so far, to a 234/240 to a 238/240.
I like rpms and I was having a real issue with traction and the tr224 and specificaly wanted my power band moved up. It matches my driving style.
