Haha, seems like this thread is a bust cause everyone is saying go smaller for lower to midrange power. I'm not arguing either, i still have plenty of research to do (as you can tell) before i go through w/ this decision. Hmmmm, maybe i'll start another "this or that" thread since those seem to be really popular. People will hate me, but you do get attention and often help desired (maybe i should stick to the newbie forums )

For what you want, you should look at TSP's 228R or the FMS-11 (228/230)

Too close to make real difference.

F13 here, from 11.40s (6-speed, motor) to 9.90s (TH-350, 150 shot).

yeah, I'm curious too. I was on the fence between these two also. I ended up going with the torquer 2 because TSP offered such a good cam package with the pushrods and springs. FMS wanted 400 for just the cam.

Look around guys. The Futral cams are just amazing performers due to their lobe design.

is it just me, or does no one advance there cam to lower the powerband, maybe not an ms4 to the same power band as a tr224 but like, as i was talking to tsp, my 233/239 cam is ground 233/239 .595/.603 112LSA+0. With the ajustable timing chain if i install it at +2, it loweres the entire powerband 200 rpm. installing it +6 loweres it 600 RPM, witch is huge, so you can have a bigger cam, and advance it, cuz if u ever do heads, with the flow and all other variables, that big cam is gunna be what you want, and u can ajust the timing when it comes, and not have to throw in a bigger cam. Just my thought
