Default Quick reusing cometic question

I'm planning on reusing a set of cometic head gaskets. I sprayed them with copper gasket spray the first time around. Do I need to clean that off and what should I use?

Copper gasket spray is just fine for reuse. I would just clean the mating surfaces of the heads/block very well, respray the gaskets, and put them back on.

Why risk your engine over a set of gaskets? I know they "can" be reused but I wouldn't.

Because they are made to reuse.

No, they aren't "made to reuse". They're made for single use. But the design of them has shown to be "capable of reuse".

Dont even bother to reuse them, just get new ones. Its not like they are that expensive so its not really worth it to risk a leak.
