ARE Stage 3 Heads
A friend of mine just picked up a set for his TA. I know they were made by Agostino Racing Engines and ARE was one of the premiere LS1 shops, but thats all I know.
I told him to have the heads flow tested and find out the size of the cc and runner, but he said he just wants to bolt them on and see where it ends up.
I'm not going to be able to convince him otherwise so for my own knowledge I wanted to know are these heads any good for a stock cube with a moderate cam?
Does anyone know approximate flow #'s?
Any comments on them overall good/bad/otherwise?

stage 3 generaly arent for a 346 unless its a dedicated race car. Huge cam leaving off the line at 4000 rpms and gears to match. Full blown drag suspension.
Usually the runners are huge and the upper lift flow numbers are big.
In a daily driven 346 it has potential to be a dog among dogs with a big cam no gears and full weight.
