Is my gas mileage reasonable? I am running a full bolton ls1 m6 w/ 3.42 rearend. Fully tuned up, torquer v3 cam w/ supporting mods, stock fuel system, etc.
It seems that my car is running a bit low on gas mileage. Im avergaing 170 miles on a tank
. With my current tune, i dont think im overfueling or anything like that and my idle seems pretty reasonable.
Is 170/tank city reasonable on a car with a big cam or is something going wrong? My car goes past 6 grand on a regular basis though.

Sounds about right. If you get on it a lot your city mileage is going to suffer.
Might want to check your O2 sensors to make sure they are working good. Also make sure you have a good tune (optimizing the DFCO settings and a few other things can gain you mileage with large cams).

That seems low to me. I get about 180 miles out of 3/4 of a tank or so and i have a h/c car with a pt4200 and 4.10 rear. I don't get on it much in daily driving but you'd really have to be driving yours hard to make the mileage worse than mine. Nothing like crawling through traffic at 3k rpm heh.

If you get on it a lot, that sounds reasonable. I get 12 mpg in the city and 22-23 mpg in the highway. I usually get an average of 17 mpg combined. I do have a bigger cam and have 3.73 gears but I skip gears a lot when driving in the city (1st,3rd,5th) and I don't rev it high.

Thats great mileage, i have a bolton car and get around 11 granny shifting and never seeing 6k. When you say full tank, do you mean when the light comes on?
Ok so what is your MPG???
Sorry its just a pet peeve of mine when people say well I think my mileage is low and I only get 190 miles to a tank? Whats a tank? You have a 1/4 left and then fill up??? How big is that 1/4 of a tank?

mostly city driving for me i get b/w 180- 190 if i see a lil highway in ther it jumps to 200- 210 i have 3.23 gears aright now n a 3400 stall. they arent matchin well. fixin to put my 3.73 's in. i bet ill get better in city w/ those
I just installed the set-up in my sig about a month ago & I'm averaging 200 miles per tank but I'm untuned also. I imagine it'll get better once I get my tune & intake swapped on.
My car has ran rich & got about 200 miles to a tank every since installin the LT's & ORY. My O2's are switching perfectly though. You can definetly tell by my new tips that I'm rich though. And most my miles are with the A/C blasting.

I just checked mine this weekend. I was going to get over 300 w/ mostly hwy driving and some city/spirited driving in there also. Averaged about 20.6 mpg when I filled up. Probably would have been mid 20s w/ hwy alone.
